American actor Matthew McConaughey initially came to public recognition in
the 1993 comedy "Dazed and Confused." He later achieved success in a variety
of different supporting roles in movies, such as "Angels in the Outfield."

terrible incident that occurred on her and McConaughey's travel there,
during which the Lufthansa airplane they were on plunged over 4,000 feet and
encountered extreme turbulence, resulting in the need to transport seven
passengers to the emergency room.
