Touching Moment Twin Brothers Meet For The First Time Nearly 70 Years After Being Separated At Birth(video)

A profound emotional bond that may be felt even when separated comes with having a twin. The reunion of twin brothers Lucian Poznanski and George Skrzynecky, who were split up at birth, after over 70 years has demonstrated the validity of this relationship. After years of seeking, the Red Cross was eventually able to link the guys when they were 69 years old.

The twins' natural mother, a Polish woman who had moved to work in a World War II forced labor camp, gave birth to the boys in Germany. Documents indicate that the woman fell unwell soon after giving birth. The boys were returned to Poland and adopted by several families there. The boys were not informed by either of their adoptive families that they were adopted or that a twin sibling existed.

When they were just starting to become adults, the brothers learned they had been adopted. After Poznanski enlisted in the military and Skrzynecky uncovered the adoption documents and confronted his parents about their deceit, Poznanski learned the truth. Skrzynecky relocated to California, where he now resides, as a result of the split this generated between him and his adopted mother. In 1960, Skrzynecky requested the Red Cross help in locating his twin, but they were unsuccessful at the time.

The Red Cross eventually found Poznanski in 2015 and informed him that his brother was hunting for him. There were many emotions shed as the twins were reunited in September 2015 at the Warsaw, Poland, airport. Read on to find out more about these brothers and see their heartwarming reunion.

In a video posted by the BBC, you can see both of the brothers breaking down as they discuss how lonely it is to live separate lives from one another. I've just wanted to know my family my entire life, Skrzynecky remarked. I went 70 years without learning anything and believed I would never locate him.

The brothers were eager to reunite and make up for missed time when the day finally arrived. Skrzynecky remarked, "I never knew when this day was going to happen; I was thinking one day I'll locate my brother. "I couldn't wait to give him a huge kiss and a bear hug."

Both brothers were eager to get to know one another after spending their whole childhoods separated from their original family. Poznanski said, "I don't care whether I win the jackpot. I simply want my brother at my side. He continued by saying that he had always felt like he had a twin but had always assumed he was just dreaming.

The moment the two guys initially laid eyes on one another, they both sobbed uncontrollably. "These are real males who are not scared to display their feelings," one commenter on the video stated.

Someone another mentioned how delighted their biological mother would be to see the twins together. "Their Mother must be beaming down on them, and she can finally relax, her babies are back together," they stated.

Added a third commenter: "The fact that these two men had the chance to meet each other makes me SO happy. 70 years of ignorance is absurd. The fact that they got the opportunity to meet is wonderful in and of itself because many individuals don't live to be 70."
