It's not surprising that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's children should be
any different considering they have both been voted the sexiest man alive
since the 1990s and the world's most beautiful lady, respectively.
The couple has a big family, with Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt being the
youngest by only one minute—her twin brother Knox was born just seconds
before her. Vivienne, who is twelve years old, is stunning and may be the
most beautiful child in the world due to her parents' genes.
Observing how two individuals come together to become a third human being
is one of the beautiful aspects about becoming a parent. Without a doubt,
children of parents who are genetically endowed with good looks typically
inherit that trait. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, two well-known Hollywood
stars, were not an exception. The well-known couple, who are no longer
together, nonetheless co-parent their six children, three of whom are
adopted and three of whom are biological. The couple still treats each other
with respect as parents, and their six children appear to be growing up in a
very loving and supportive environment even after the Brangelina craze has
passed.
Let's first look at the lives of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, and how they
became not only some of the most attractive people on the globe, but also
some of the most well-known faces in Hollywood, before we meet their
daughter, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt.
Pitt's life began in a somewhat typical way. On December 18, 1963, he was
born in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Pitt, however, was raised by his family in
Springfield, Missouri, not Oklahoma. During an interview with Parade, Pitt
talked about his early years:
"My father owned a trucking business. We relocated when I was a small
child, first to Tulsa, then to St. Louis, and finally to Springfield,
Missouri, by the time I was in kindergarten. I essentially grew up there.
Although my father came from a very low-income family, I was really lucky in
that we never went without. My father was adamant about ensuring that we
were not in need of anything. He wished to provide us with more
opportunities and a better chance at a better life than he had. That was
done for us by him."
Pitt continued his speech by describing how his family's supportive
atmosphere inspired him to try new things. He declared:
He claims, "I had a very encouraging family environment that allowed me to
explore and discover things about myself." "As a youngster, I used to
inquire about my bloodlines and family history. Actually, we didn't know all
that much. Because of the Oklahoma Trail of Tears, we had a little bit of
Indian in us. Our location was in southern Missouri, directly between the
North and the South, near the Mason-Dixon Line. Here, many cultures
converge: the hillbilly people from the Appalachian region to the east, the
Midwestern people descending from above, and the people of Texas and
Oklahoma to the south. There were several diverse influences, viewpoints, and
dialects entering this space."
Brad Pitt even studied journalism with an emphasis on advertising at the
University of Missouri. However, Pitt made the decision to go to Los Angeles
a few weeks before his graduation, hoping to pursue a career in the motion
picture industry. Pitt claimed that movies served as "a portal into
different worlds" for him in an interview with "Parade." Although he landed
his first job in 1987, he didn't start to make a name for himself in
Hollywood until he starred in "Thelma and Louise" in 1991. It's generally
agreed upon that his romantic moment in the film cemented his reputation as
Hollywood's favorite hottie.
Brad Pitt's rise to fame was accelerated in the 1990s by roles in films
including "Interview With the Vampire," "Legends of the Fall," "Seven," and
"Fight Club." Around that time, he also started dating females who were
similarly gorgeous. The most well-known ones were Gwyneth Paltrow and
Jennifer Aniston, the latter of whom he eventually married. His marriage to
Aniston ended in a highly publicized manner when it was rumored that he and
Angelina Jolie dated after filming "Mr. & Mrs. Smith." The press
nicknamed them "Brangelina," and they went on to become the most attractive
couple in Hollywood when the allegations proved to be real, but their
relationship wasn't without controversy. There were a ton of allegations
going around since Brad Pitt met Angelina Jolie when he was dating Jennifer
Aniston. Aniston spoke with "Vanity Fair" in October 2005, following her
divorce from Brad Pitt. Aniston responded as follows when asked if she
thought Brad Pitt hadn't cheated on her with Angelina Jolie:
"I decide to have faith in my spouse. I wouldn't be shocked by anything at
this time, but I would much prefer chose to trust him.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie eventually started a family together in spite
of the turbulence. In contrast to Pitt's ordinary background, Angelina Jolie
is descended from a Hollywood royalty. Jolie was born in Los Angeles on June
4, 1975, and raised on movie sets. She is the daughter of well-known actor
Jon Voight and humanitarian and actress Marcheline Bertrand. She was
encouraged to pursue acting, nevertheless, not by her father's prosperous
job but rather by the numerous films she and her mother would watch at home.
Jolie discusses how her mother genuinely influenced her in a Mother's Day
opinion piece she wrote for The New York Times. She penned:
"I cherished my mother. Her aspirations of becoming an actor diminished
when she discovered, at the age of 26, that she was parenting two children
with a well-known ex who would have a lasting impact on her life. She was
reared Catholic on Chicago's South Side. I saw a video of her performing in
a short film after she passed away. She performed well. For her, it was all
conceivable."
After a turbulent phase in her late teens, Angelina Jolie decided to devote
herself to her passion for the trade, ready to follow her mother's footsteps
and enroll at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
With early hits like "Gia," "The Bone Collector," and "Girl, Interrupted,"
she enjoyed enormous success. Later, she concentrated on more commercial
productions like "Gone in 60 Seconds" and the "Tomb Raider" series. Even
though she was still relatively young, her natural acting ability and
ethereal beauty propelled her to the top of Hollywood. However, Jolie
started to exhibit a different side of herself away from her profession as a
humanitarian, maybe partly influenced by her mother. Maddox, a boy from
Cambodia, was the first kid she adopted, somewhere around this period. A few
years later, she landed a part in "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," which brought her
together with Brad Pitt.
The public is unaware of the whole circumstances surrounding Aniston, Pitt,
and Jolie, but the consequences caused a major scandal in the film industry.
Jolie was charged with dissolving Aniston and Pitt's marriage; although none
of them talked about it at the time, Jolie did say a few things afterwards.
In an interview, she subsequently acknowledged that while she was filming
"Mr. & Mr. Smith," she did fall in love with Pitt, but they weren't
close.
"I could never forgive myself for having an intimate relationship with a
married guy after my father had an affair with my mother. If I did that, I
would not be able to look at myself in the morning. A man who cheated on his
wife would not pique my interest."
Nevertheless, Brangelina started dating, and their family expanded almost
as quickly as they did. Around this time, Jolie adopted a second child,
Zahara, an Ethiopian girl, and it was subsequently revealed that Pitt had
also had a hand in the choice. He formally adopted Maddox and Zahara as his
own children not long after. Jolie then went on to get pregnant with Shiloh,
the couple's first biological child. Having been given the name John at
birth, Shiloh is now a girl. At first, Jolie and Pitt seemed to accept the
inclination as a passing phase. In 2007, the couple also adopted Pax, a
Vietnamese boy, as a second son. After two years of dating, Pitt and Jolie
expanded their family, which already included Angelina's first child, by
adding three more children. Though six people is by no means a tiny family,
the couple's work was far from over.
The pair announced Jolie's pregnancy again, this time with twins, during
the 2008 Cannes Film Festival. A few months later, on July 12, she gave
birth to Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon, the older of the two, who were
born a minute apart. The parents made history by selling the rights to the
first pictures of the twins to People and Hello! for $14 million, knowing
full well that their birth would spark intense media attention. These
pictures are currently the most expensive celebrity photos ever shot. They
gave the funds to the Maddox-Jolie-Pitt Foundation, their charity
organization.
An interview on family life with the couple was published alongside the
piece in 'Hello!'. After discussing their sizable six-child family, Pitt
told the magazine, "Always said if I were to do it, I'd do it big." "Wanting
a big family is one of the things that brought us together," Jolie continued
in the meanwhile. They also gave an explanation for the names they chose,
with Pitt saying:
"Vivienne arrived early, almost as if she had called us by name. She's been
Viv for eternity. Marcheline will also pay tribute to Angie's late mother.
Leon is a traditional French name, and Knox is a family name—my
grandfather's."
It goes without saying that Jolie is overjoyed that she named her baby
after her mother. She told Hello!, "Every time I see or say Vivienne's full
name, I think of my mom." In addition, the twins are deriving their names
from both parents, as stated by Pitt:
"I'd venture to say that Viv is becoming to physically, mentally, and
spiritually resemble Ange. She shares her mother's elegance."
It truly should come as no surprise that Vivienne is the most beautiful
girl alive and has the potential to become one of the most beautiful women
in the world if she inherits her mother's looks. It's maybe not shocking to
hear that she has previously appeared in a Hollywood movie, given the
background of her parents! Vivienne played a child Princess Aurora in the
film "Maleficent," costarring her Oscar-winning mother Angeline Jolie, when
she was just five years old. Although it's her lone acting credit for the
time being, it's still too early to tell what type of life and profession
she will pursue. 'Hello!' reports that Angelina Jolie revealed to
'Entertainment Weekly' that she had not initially intended for Vivienne to
be the movie's lead. Angelina Jolie stated:
"Our children like making brief appearances and hanging out with us on the
set, but they are not performers. That's not at all what Brad and I want to
achieve. However, the other [performers], who were three and four years old,
wouldn't approach me. A youngster who liked me and wasn't scared of my eyes,
claws, or horns had to be the one. Thus, Viv had to be the one.
Jolie also said that, when wearing her Maleficent costume and makeup, her
second kid, Pax, who was ten at the time, was too afraid of her:
"When Pax saw me for the first time, he ran away and got upset – and I
thought he was kidding, so I was pretending to chase him until I actually
found him crying."
Ultimately, a child was required for the scene, and Vivienne was cast for
the part because, in contrast to her other siblings, she didn't find her
mother's outfit to be too frightening.
Vivienne, who is almost a teenager, is becoming more and more like her
parents every day. Pictured at the 2019 "Maleficent: Mistress of Evil"
premiere, when Angelina came on the red carpet with all of her kids,
Vivienne had a striking resemblance to her mother, with a little of her
father thrown in for good measure.
The young girl seems to be carrying on their humanitarian legacy in
addition to being gorgeous. In 2019, Vivienne was seen selling dog treats at
a nearby dog park in Los Angeles with Jolie and her siblings. The money
raised went toward a rescue shelter. In 2020, Vivienne, who was an avid
animal lover, received tragic news when her beloved rabbit passed away
during surgery. According to Jolie, Harper's Bazaar
"Vivienne's rabbit went away after surgery, and we took in two adorable but
crippled tiny ones. They must operate in pairs. It has been beneficial to
concentrate on their care for her right now because they are so kind. And
regarding the lizard, dogs, and snakes..."
She also disclosed that she is remaining composed for her kids,
saying:
Like most parents, I try to maintain my composure so that my kids won't
have to worry about anything else on top of my nervousness. I gave them my
whole attention."
Even before the outbreak, Jolie had made regular mention of educating her
kids and the fact that they are all studying other languages. "Vivienne
really wanted to learn Arabic," she said, as reported by "Hello!" on BBC
Radio 4's Women's Hour.
Even though she is only beginning her adolescent years, Vivienne is already
emulating her parents—she is incredibly intelligent, beautiful, and has a
humanitarian spirit! We are forward to watch her develop even further and
see where life leads her.
