Kylie Jenner has spoken out about the plastic surgery she's had in the
past, saying that although she hasn't had as many surgeries as she thinks,
people still believe she has.
The 25-year-old makeup mogul famously underwent lip fillers at the age of
17 because she was self-conscious about her thin lips.
After originally insisting that her overlined lips and bigger pout were
just smart makeup tricks, Kylie later acknowledged that she had had fillers
to get the appearance.
When she founded Kylie Cosmetics, which started with her well-known lip
kits that would sell out in a matter of minutes, she converted the hype
surrounding her new appearance into a billion-dollar company.
While she has acknowledged fillers, Kylie has come forward to refute rumors
that she has undergone more surgery after some admirers suggested she
had.
The mother-of-two clarified in a recent interview with HommeGirls magazine:
"I believe a huge misperception about me is that I've had so much facial
surgery and thought I was this insecure person, and I really wasn't!
Yes, I adore large lips and always wished I had thick lips, but as a child,
I was always the most self-assured person in the room. I was the girl who
entertained everyone.
"I got lip filler because I had one lip insecurity issue, and it was the
best thing I've ever done," she continued. I have no regrets. However, I've
always believed I was adorable.
According to Forbes, reality sensation Kylie Jenner founded Kylie Cosmetics
after being questioned about how she overlined her lips.
She also mentioned how having her children, son Aire, one, and daughter
Stormi, five, helped her see her own innate beauty as she sees it in
them.
Kylie said having children had altered her perspective: "Oh, it's changed
so much. It has increased my love for myself. Now as I look at my son and
daughter, I can see some of my characteristics, but my daughter resembles me
the most.
"I get to see my beauty in her, and it has definitely helped me to
appreciate myself more. For me, beauty is ever-changing.
She also disclosed that she is now adopting the "less is more" aesthetic
for her appearance and embracing her "natural beauty, freckles, and bushy
brows".
When asked if she planned to have more kids in the future, Kylie said she
didn't have a certain number in mind or a plan, but she did feel that
whatever was meant to happen for her, will.
The two kids that the youngest Kardashian-Jenner sibling has with Travis
Scott, with whom she has had an on-and-off relationship for many years, are
hers.
Even though they are not currently dating, they have always been dedicated
to co-parenting and have a close bond as a result.
However, following their interaction at Paris Fashion Week, Timothee
Chalamet and Kylie have since been linked by rumors.
According to sources, the suspected pair has also been spotted out on dates
and most recently had tacos at the same restaurant.
