Sweet teen with special needs visits mom’s grave to tell her: “I did it. I graduate.”(video)

Every young person's graduation marks a significant turning point in their lives. It is a time for celebration and a chance for parents to express their pride in their children.

One youngster, however, was forced to do something extremely unique to honor the event because he was unable to receive a hug and congratulations from his father in recognition of his amazing performance.

The American youngster with special needs managed to complete his education and receive his diploma without his mother's unwavering love and support, who passed away in 2010.

He dressed sharply, went to his mother's grave with a lovely arrangement of flowers, and made sure she was part of this historic occasion.

The teenager tells his mother, "I did it, I graduated today, and I know you'd be so proud of me and so pleased and I love you so much."

He then leaves her a kiss and places the floral arrangement near her tombstone.

It's a very poignant moment from a young man who, despite all odds, has reached a significant life milestone. He may still inform his mother in a spirit even though she is not around to experience the occasion with him in person.

It must have been a bittersweet experience for this brave adolescent to pay his respects at her grave on such a joyous day for him.

He is such an inspiration and a great reminder to all of us that we shouldn't allow anything that life throws at us stand in the way of our aspirations.

By earning his college degree, this teenager has paid tribute to his late mother, and he is aware that she is no doubt proudly watching from above of her lovely son.
