Officers Tavera and Mercado of the LAPD were on patrol when they noticed a
tiny dog walking by itself close to Hobart Boulevard.
To prevent being hit, they immediately snatched the small dog and placed
him inside their car. They brought the Hobart-named dog to the police
station. The adorable dog instantly fell in love with the officers and never
wanted to leave.
The officers also developed a love for Hobart, as you can see in the video
below below. Hobart, the newest member of their K-9 unit, was also unveiled.
One thing at that time caused everything to alter.
