Grandfather buys school bus so he can take all 10 of his grandchildren to school every day

Every once in a while, a tale surfaces that will undoubtedly bring tears to your eyes. I mean happy tears.

You're in luck, though, because we've uncovered just such a tale today, one that will serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of family values and the unwavering love between a grandpa and his increasing number of grandkids.

Doug Hayes, a grandpa from Oregon, is determined to give each of his grandchildren a unique Christmas present. Though he may have exceeded himself this year by purchasing a present that has become incredibly popular for all the right reasons.

Doug is the MVP of this Christmas when it comes to gifts for the grandchildren, no one can dispute that.

The ten-grandchild grandfather made the decision to go about things a bit differently by giving a gift of a vivid yellow school bus.

a bus for kids? I hear you asking. Yes, a bus so he could take them all to school and enjoy daily time with his grandchildren.

Fortunately, the video of his grandkids opening the gift was posted on social media, allowing everyone to share in the excitement.

That's it? The children can be heard shouting, "You got a bus!" as they race in the direction of their discovery.

Doug responded, "I thought, gee whiz, maybe there's some way that I can give them a memory that will last all their lives," when asked why he did it.

According to accounts, his grandkids attend a tiny, non-busing Christian primary school. Grandfather Express, the vehicle's moniker, will operate all year round.

The strategy was created by Doug, who now appears to be a part-time school bus driver, and we believe it is just wonderful! Your granddad would be the ideal person to drive you to and from school.
