It goes without saying that being a parent is a life-altering event that
transforms everything. Just after giving birth, it can be difficult for new
parents to know what to anticipate. In a 2014 video, two newborn twin girls
are shown chattering and turning their heads to stare at each other, giving
the impression that they are conversing. When their parents saw how cute the
situation was, they began to record.
Mom must have been shocked when her twin girls had their first talk one
hour after they were born. The two girls in this endearing video exchange
sympathetic glances and begin rambling to each other, as if to say, "That
was weird, right? What just took place?"
It should come as no surprise that this adorable 30-second video became
viral online. It's obvious that the audience is as astonished as mom was!
One spectator makes a humorous observation: "We succeeded at last. We
managed to get away." "Told you it would work, man."
"How long have you been in?" asks a different young mother. "Oh, nine
months." Some people hypothesized that this early indication of babble was a
precursor to a baby's eventual development of speech and communication
skills.
Whatever the reason, we can all agree that this is a really sweet moment
that demonstrates the unique link twins have from the very beginning.
