The most beautiful things can occasionally be found in little forms. Ron
was one such man who was taken aback when he discovered the tiny baby mammal
wriggling about on his driveway. Ron was perplexed as to what species the
little infant was since its characteristics were so immature that they were
barely discernible at all. Despite this, he was compelled to bring the
infant inside and cover it to keep it warm since he simply could not leave
it outside. He then did what any of us would have done: he looked something
up online.
"(I) went online, did some research, and decided that I could have a
squirrel on my hands. Ron made this statement in a video that was posted on
the We Love Animals YouTube channel on December 26, 2022. "And I saw that
sometimes, baby squirrels fall out of their nests, and sometimes, mother
will come back and get them," Ron stated.
Ron then made the decision to make an effort to reunite the adorable infant
with its family. When he got back to the driveway, he placed the infant in a
box. He then kept an eye on the distance to see whether its mother would
show up. And sure enough, she did! Ron was disappointed to see that the
mother barely gave the infant a sniff before leaving.
The now-de facto squirrel father then started working to keep the youngster
alive. Every three hours, he started giving it puppy milk formula with a
syringe. The hardest aspect, according to Ron, "was like having a newborn
baby." Ron saw the squirrel was rapidly gaining strength a few weeks
later.
"As time passed, I started to believe that he would live. Then we grew
close," Ron continued.
When his little pal was 13 weeks old, Ron realized it was time to let him
go back outside. For his friend to live in, Ron bought a wooden squirrel
house that he affixed to a tree. After being let go, the squirrel jumped up
the tree and eagerly explored its new home. That didn't, however, spell the
end of their lovely friendship.
Even after I had set him free, he would occasionally pop his head out of
the squirrel box when I called to him in my backyard. He would occasionally
run over and jump on me, according to Ron. He continued by saying that the
small squirrel frequented his home.
The two have developed such a sweet bond that they occasionally just hang
out together.
We're pals, and occasionally he'll sit on my knee as I watch TV. He's
incredibly loving and clever, said Ron.
Since then, Ron has created a TikTok page to chronicle the adventures of
his pet squirrel, who he has called Robert "Bobby" Squirrel. The page has
acquired an incredible 4.5 million likes and over 350,000 followers, which
is presumably because the clips of Bobby playing, eating, and generally
running around are just too adorable to ignore. In one sweet video, Ron can
be seen singing Bobby a lullaby and giving him milk with a syringe. In
another, Ron can be seen holding a trembling Bobby who had entered the home
during a rainstorm.
Ron's life seemed to have improved significantly as a result of Bobby. He
stated:
Well, until Bobby got up, I didn't really have a connection to squirrels.
But as I saw how friendly he was and we started to get to know one another,
I started to notice the other squirrels and realized how wonderful they
are.
