On Saturday, the actor from "The Wolf of Wall Street" celebrated his 54th
birthday.
Matthew McConaughey's birthday is being celebrated with the support of his
loved ones!
On Saturday, the 54-year-old actor celebrated his birthday with a football
game in his native Texas. His 15-year-old son Levi McConaughey also posted a
heartfelt birthday message on Instagram.
In the description, Levi said, "People know Matthew McConaughey as an actor
and now a writer, but I know him as my father." The images included old
pictures of the two of them together.
"The man who never fails to find time for us, the man who stands by us no
matter what, and the man who taught me to value the journey rather than just
the end point," he went on. "The trips are just beginning.Papai, happy
birthday.
Along with Matthew's wife Camila Alves McConaughey and their other
children, son Livingston,10, and daughter Vida,13, the pair grinned together
outside in the first photo that was posted.
In the second picture, Levi and Matthew were at a baseball game in a
stadium when Levi was a small child.
The two could be spotted again posing for an outside group photo alongside
Matthew's mother Kay and the other members of the McConaughey family.
In the last picture, the family was shown sitting around a kitchen table,
their hands resting on one other in a tender moment of connection.
Levi pays homage as a father. In honor of his latest birthday, Matthew had
a busy day.
The actor was seen on Saturday with his 41-year-old wife Camila at a
celebration honoring the introduction of their brand-new Pantalones Organic
Tequila. Later that day, they watched the Texas Longhorns defeat the Kansas
State Wildcats at the University of Texas in Austin.
In a video posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), Matthew celebrated his
birthday by joining the Big Noon Kickoff hosts at the game and receiving a
bottle of his own tequila and cake.
"Is it not too early to start consuming this?" Matthew posed the question
to the supporters who had gathered outside behind him. "Let's toast to 54,"
he said, cracking open the bottle and taking a confident sip.
In a second video posted on X, the actor was seen joining the Longhorns on
the field as they followed him in doing his well-known pre-kick
chest-beating gesture from the 2013 movie The Wolf of Wall Street.

In a playful promotional video that surfaced last month, Matthew and Camila
launched their new tequila business while riding motorcycles without pants
on.
Prior to the amusing video, the actor revealed earlier in October, during
an interview on the Whine Down with Jana Kramer podcast, where he got his
sense of humor.
At the time, Matthew stated, "My family and a part of Camila and I too, we
cherish the value of a sense of humor and comedy."
